Property in Motherwell

Motherwell is a large town and the administrative centre for North Lanarkshire Council, southeast of Glasgow and adjacent to the M74 that leads to Cumbria. Motherwell is also three miles south of the newly-upgraded M8 linking Glasgow and Edinburgh, making this a popular commuter belt town.

Motherwell has two train stations, including one on the West Coast Main Line from Glasgow to London. Ten primary schools join several high schools, with a further education college within the proposed Ravenscraig New Town. Strathclyde Country Park is home to Scotland's theme park, beside a beautiful manmade loch.
