The town of Rosyth is situated on the Firth of Forth's northern bank, three miles south of Dunfermline. Rosyth was founded as a garden city to support the coastal port of Dunfermline, and it retains a great deal of open space.



Rosyth is separated from neighbouring Inverkeithing by the adjacent M90 that provides direct access to Edinburgh via the Forth Road Bridge. Rosyth railway station is on the Fife Circle Line, with trains to Edinburgh Waverley taking just over half an hour.
