Cockenzie and Port Seton is a unified town in East Lothian, on the Firth of Forth coastline four miles northeast of Musselburgh. Cockenzie and Port Seton developed from two small fishing villages, and the older parts of the town between the two harbours retain a more traditional ambience.
Both towns are served by direct bus links with Edinburgh, Prestonpans and Musselburgh. The nearest railway station is at Prestonpans. Along with neighbouring Prestonpans and Longniddry, Cockenzie and Port Seton were twinned with the Tuscan town of Barga in 2006.
