Property in Bo'ness

Bo'ness, or Borrowstounness to use its official title, is a coastal town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies on a hillside on the Firth of Forth's southern bank within the Falkirk council area, seventeen miles north-west of Edinburgh and seven miles east of Falkirk.

Bo'ness was formerly a centre of heavy industry, including coal mining. However, it is now primarily a commuter town with excellent road links via the nearby M9 motorway. Many of its residents travel to work in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Falkirk. One of the main local sources of employment is the Ineos petrochemical facility (formerly BP) located in nearby Grangemouth. Bo'ness has a single secondary school and five primary schools.
