Brodick is the main settlement on the Isle of Arran, in the Firth of Clyde. It lies halfway along the east coast of the island in Brodick Bay below Goat Fell, the tallest mountain on Arran.

Brodick Harbour receives the main ferry between Arran and the mainland via Ardrossan, while a second smaller ferry sails from Lochranza. The Brodick to Ardrossan service connects Arran residents with the national rail network, and ferries are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne.
