Coldstream is situated in the Scottish Borders, on the northern bank of a bend in the River Tweed. Although mainly a farming community, the town still boasts varied and interesting tourist and sporting activities. These include golf, fishing, bowling, tennis, horse-riding, walking and cycling.
Coldstream is within easy driving distance of the Berwickshire and Northumberland coast, famous for its towering cliffs and vast sandy beaches. High Street runs through the town and hosts a wide array of shops and B&B's, along the third busiest route into Scotland after the M74 and A1.
