Property in Crail

The town of Crail sits on the East Neuk of Fife, less than ten miles from the university town of St Andrews and its extensive local amenities. This beautiful fishing town has a delightful harbour, surrounded by period architecture including the unusually-designed Tollbooth.

With a population of 1,812 recorded in the 2011 census, Crail contains various buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. Many of these have been restored by the National Trust for Scotland, making this a favourite location for artists. The Tollbooth tower dates from around 1600, while the harbour was largely completed by 1583.
