Property in Falkland

Formerly known as Kilgour, the town of Falkland lies six miles north of Glenrothes and three miles south of Auchtermuchty. The nearby A91 joins Stirling to St Andrews and the A92 connects Kirkcaldy with Dundee via the Tay Bridge, while the M90 is close at hand for travel further afield.

On the fringe of Lomond Hills Regional Park, this former royal burgh has a population of around 1,200 people. The 5th Viscount of Falkland gave his name to the South Atlantic islands, and Falkland is also famous for its Palace - constructed in 1500 by James IV and frequently visited by Mary, Queen of Scots.
