Newbridge is a suburb of Edinburgh and is situated just south of Kirkliston, with a population of around 1,000 people. The Newbridge roundabout is one of the busiest junctions in Scotland, since the M8 and M9 meet here.
The A8 runs from Newbridge Roundabout straight into central Edinburgh, and the A89 extends from Newbridge Roundabout to Broxburn. Newbridge is also served by several bus services and stands a mile from Edinburgh Airport. It will eventually be the western terminus of Tram Line 2 from Edinburgh.
