Property in Peterhead

Peterhead is the most easterly town in Scotland, and the largest in the Aberdeenshire council region. By 1680, it had become one of the largest fishing ports in the north of Scotland, and Peterhead still remains a significant fishing port within Europe.

With the growth of the oil industry in northeast Scotland, Peterhead has become a service base with a heliport to the west of the town. Because of this growth, some parts of Peterhead have become industrialised and there has been an increased development of new housing.
