Property in Tranent

Tranent in East Lothian is close to the A1 and approximately eleven miles east of Edinburgh. It is one of the oldest towns in East Lothian, built on a gentle slope about 300 feet above sea level. The Firth of Forth's sandy beaches are a five-minute drive from here.

Tranent is adjacent to the A1, extending from London to Edinburgh via Leith. Prestonpans railway station is just over a mile from Tranent, offering fifteen-minute journey times to Edinburgh Waverley. The proximity of neighbouring towns and villages like Musselburgh provides Tranent residents with excellent local amenities.
